CONFIRMED COVERAGE: Umphrey's McGee w/Lettuce
I am very pleased to announce that I have officially been confirmed to review and photograph Umphrey's McGee w/Lettuce at Pier Six Pavilion in Baltimore, MD on July 19 for Umphreak's Anonymous! This will be one of my first big shows to cover after my move to the Mid-Atlantic, and I couldn't be more excited! I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will be confirmed for the Philly show the previous night as well. I will be dedicating this coverage to my friend and UmAnon founder/admin Jason Turngren, who is still in the hospital recovering from multiple brain aneurysms. Get well soon Jason! The world needs you back! In the meantime, Jason himself would consider it an insult if I did not continue to rage on!

Umphrey's McGee To Release The London Sessions
Umphrey's McGee has done it again! The progressive jam band sextet is set to release The London Sessions, recorded at the internationally renowned Abbey Road Studios, on April 7, 2015. The band stopped by on a quick day off, during their trip to London for a three night run at the newly opened Brooklyn Bowl London, to record a mixture of unreleased originals and covers, including the Beatles' "I Want You (She's So Heavy)." The album will be released on the band's own Nothing Too Fancy label. Rolling Stone caught up with lead singer and guitarist Brendan Bayliss. Check out the full article here. Summer Camp Wins Round 1
As the festival announcements begin to fire up, we have seen lots of great lineups thus far. None, however, have turned out so incredibly enticing as Summer Camp Music Festival. Presented by Jay Goldberg Events & Entertainment at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois, the always esteemed event is in its 15th installment. What began as a small, single stage event has now blossomed into 4 main stages, 2 tent stages and a cohesive community of like-minded music lovers. The 2015 lineup features the usual headliners of moe. and Umphrey's McGee. The two founding bands, however, have each given up one of their usual 6 sets to include headlining sets from Steve Miller Band and Widespread Panic. Other notable jamband acts on the lineup include STS9, John Butler Trio, Future Rock, The Infamous Stringdusters, Joe Russo's Almost Dead, Keller Williams & Grateful Grass and Trampled By Turtles. Notable electronic artists include Cherub, The Floozies, Paul Oakenfold, Cosby Sweater, Digital Tape Machine and Modern Measure.
